A New Chapter at Beber: Our Lending Library is Here!

We’re excited to share a special site update—Beber Camp now has a Lending Library! Thanks to the generous support of the Lubin family from Memphis, campers will have a dedicated space to exchange books all summer long.

This new library is right next to the pool, making it super convenient for campers to stop by—whether Makor is heading to instructional swim or the whole camp is enjoying free swim.

A Space with History

This library is more than just a new addition—it’s a repurposed piece of Beber history! The building originally served as the tack room for our horseback riding program. More recently, it was used for baseball storage, but last summer we moved that equipment into a shipping container, making room for this exciting transformation. Check out the photos in this post to see how we turned this old space into something fresh and inviting for our campers!

Help Us Fill the Shelves!

To make this library truly special, we need your help stocking it! If you have books suitable for campers ages 7 through Young Adult, we’d love to add them to our collection. Email michael@bebercamp.com to coordinate a donation, and we’ll make sure your books find a home at Beber.

We can’t wait to see campers diving into great stories all summer long—thank you for helping us bring this vision to life!
